The 2026 world data and Plague Legacy
The World Update changes country data. Plague Legacy uses the 2012 world setup.
Country data
The 2026 World Update changes the country data used by the simulation. An older strategy may have been written for the earlier setup. Check which world setup a guide uses before applying its country advice.
Plague Legacy
Select the free Plague Legacy scenario to play with the 2012 world setup. Use the same scenario when comparing a run with results from that version of the world.
Later patches
Patch 1.24.0.3 fixes the Peripheral Verge Outbreak crashing during startup. Check the named changes in a patch when deciding whether it affects the run you are planning.
