Slow infection growth in Greenland

For a standard disease, check Greenland’s infected population and cold resistance when infections grow slowly.

Check the population figures

Open Greenland and read the infected and healthy population counts. Zero infections means the disease still needs to arrive. Once infections are present, watch whether the infected count is increasing.

Check the remaining healthy population before increasing lethality. The world map’s colour alone does not show how many people remain uninfected.

Cold and drug resistance

Greenland is cold and very sparsely populated. Cold Resistance 1 and Cold Resistance 2 improve disease effectiveness in cold climates. Drug Resistance improves effectiveness in wealthy countries.

After evolving resistance, watch the infected count over time. A small initial infected population may grow slowly. Use the conditions in other uninfected countries when deciding where to spend the remaining DNA.

Lethality and disease type

If infected people die faster than the disease reaches healthy people, the infection can die out. Keep lethality low enough for the remaining healthy population to become infected.

Necrosis allows transmission from decomposed bodies. Check its prerequisites before including it in a sequence. Mad Cow Disease and Necroa Virus use their own rules; this guide covers standard disease runs.
