Scenarios
CompareAIDS
AIDS is a cancelled scenario in Mutation 1.7, in which the player must use HIV/AIDS to infect and wipe out the world. It can be speculated that it was cut during the development of the Scenarios DLC due to having the connection with sex and drugs, which can raise the age rating of the game. The scenario was removed because the developers felt it was "too real", as HIV is a disease that still affects certain groups of people, and people with the condition are often discriminated against.

Core stats
These are the core stats from Plague Inc. and Plague Inc: Evolved, Lethality being represented by a skull symbol at the bottom of the screen, on the Death Toll Meter, and Infectivity being represented by a biohazard symbol at the bottom of the screen, on the Infection Count Meter. For diseases that don’t kill, such as Santa's Little Helper or Ultimate Board Games, the skull symbol is still a default. While it stays at zero in Santa's Little Helper, the dead people are replaced with “sales” in Ultimate Board Games. In Fake News, the skull symbol is entirely replaced with…

Custom Scenarios
Custom Scenarios is a feature formerly exclusive to Plague Inc: Evolved which allow players to create and publish their own scenarios via the Scenario Creator and then publish them on Steam Workshop. It was introduced in November 2014. In 2016, players of Plague Inc. became able to play Custom Scenarios. Frozen Virus
A giant virus, frozen deep in the Siberian permafrost, has thawed and infected an unknown victim.
