A reassortment of the 2009 strain with limited lethality - existing anti-virals are moderately effective against it. However, analysis of its genetic makeup has identified potential sequence similarities to the 1918 'Spanish Flu' strain that killed 5% of the world's population. Will history repeat itself?

When the Templars fully reveal themselves, they will have fortified anywhere from four to seven countries, unlike Z Com, who only fortify one country initially. The Templars will fortify countries with the least amount of infected humans, or at random if there are none. Similar to Z Com, the Templars can create additional bases by sending reinforcement planes.
