Transmissions
Compare
Fomites 3
Pathogen able to survive on surfaces for long periods of time. Increases infectivity - especially in wealthy and urban environments

Frozen Storage Resilience
Cell-adapted shifts in protein structure lets pathogen thrive over long food supply chains. Increases ship and plane transmission.

Gastrointestinal Expansion
Virus can replicate in stomach and intestine, increasing infectiousness through faeces and vomit

Genetic Swap
Worms able to exchange genetic material inside host body, increasing chance of mutation

Glow Worms
Worms use bioluminescence to emit a comforting, warm glow and draw people towards them from afar. Increases infectivity, especially in rural areas. +3% infectivity

Gold Digger
Worms become fixated on shiny gadgets and jewelry, ruthlessly hunting their owners. Increases infectivity, especially in rich countries.

Hermetic Storage Resilience
Minor protein alterations raise chance of pathogen remaining active via long haul food suply chains. Increases ship and plane transmission.

Hominidae Bridge
Ape and human forms of virus able to efficiently jump between species. Increases mutation change and enables cross-species transmission

Horse 1
Horses susceptible to the pathogen and able to infect humans. Increase infectivity in rural and arid locations, as well as likelihood of mutation

Horse 2
Pathogen spreads through horse faeces. Increase infectivity in rural and arid locations, as well as likelihood of mutation.

Insect
Insect is a basic transmission found in most plagues, in which the pathogen can spread more easily after its bites, which increases infection especially in areas with a generally hot climate, as well as increasing the disease's mutation.

Insect (Mad Cow Disease)
Pathogen spreads through (accidental) consumption of insects. Increases infectivity and chance of mutation. Especially effective in arid climates.
Insect 1
Insects susceptible to infection. Carrier insects increase infectivity, especially in hot climates and chance of mutation
Insect 2
Increases rate of transfer between insects. Increase infectivity, especially in hot climates and chance of mutation

Insect 2 (Neurax Worm)
Attaching to a greater range of insects allows large increase in infectivity, especially in hot climates

Inter-genus dissemination 1
Virus more effective at spreading between different types of ape - increasing chance of ape to ape transmission and mutation

Inter-genus dissemination 2
Virus highly effective at spreading between different types of ape - increasing the chance of ape to ape transmission and mutation

Lamb
Pathogen spreads through consumption of lamb and mutton. Increases infectivity and chance of mutation.

Livestock
Livestock is one of the basic transmissions for the standard plagues and other types of diseases, it is characterized by the spread in rural areas as well as the increase of mutation.
Livestock 1
Livestock susceptible to infection. Increase infectivity, especially in rural regions and mutation
Livestock 2
Wildlife susceptible to infection. Increase infectivity, especially in rural regions and mutation

Maize
Pathogen spreads through consumption of corn products. Increases infectivity, especially in poor countries

Mango
Pathogen spreads through consumption of mangos. Increases infectivity, especially in hot climates.
Manifesto
Manifesto is a header that replaces "Transmissions" in the Fake News scenario, and is a group of traits. It works like this: First, a topic is chosen, then who it is run by is chosen, then an intention is chosen, and then who it blames is chosen, each in the form of a trait that costs 0 DNA Points and increases at least one of the Core stats by a small amount, regardless. For each stage, only one trait can be chosen, and upon completing the fourth stage, some traits from the Growth and Adaptability sections become available.
